Scenario:


Let’s say that user wants to issue a delivery order to his customer. Customer requests for the items to be delivered to their branch office in Kuala Lumpur. However, the delivery address on the delivery order displays the HQ address located in Johor by default. 

How to set the delivery address to the KL branch address as default location?



Solution:


1. Go to Customer module > Customers.



2. Double-click on an existing customer record for which you want to add a new delivery address. 


3. Go to Delivery Addresses tab, click on the New icon.



4. Once the Delivery Address window prompts out, enter the details in the fields provided such as Branch Code, Branch Name, Address etc., then click Save and Close to go back to the previous window. 


Note: All the fields are optional to fill-out.



Notice that is it now displayed in the list below.


 

5. You can use the newly created delivery address by going to Sales module > Delivery Order to create a Delivery Order. 



6. After filling-out the details, go to DO Address tab and click on the Delivery Address button. 



7. A small window with a list of created delivery addresses for the selected customer will pop-out. Select the row of the address that you want to set as the delivery address and click OK



Current delivery address will be replaced with the selected address. Click Save



8. Click Preview to preview the printed format of the Delivery Order. 



Result:


In print preview, you can see that the delivery address is set to the address that was selected previously.
