Briefing
The purpose of enabling the QNE Auto Update feature for workstations is to streamline the software update process and ensure that all users have access to the latest version of the software without manual intervention.
By enabling this feature, users no longer need to individually download and install software updates on their workstations. Instead, when a new version of the software is available and installed on the server, the workstations will automatically detect the update and initiate the upgrade process without requiring any action from the user.
This helps to ensure consistency and uniformity across all workstations, reduces the risk of using outdated software versions, and saves time for both users and IT administrators by automating the update process. Additionally, it helps to improve overall system security and performance by ensuring that users have access to the latest features, enhancements, and bug fixes provided in the updated software versions.
Beginning from 2024.0.0.1 version & 2024.1.0.1 version and above, the system offers the capability to automatically update other workstations once the server has been upgraded to a new version.
