Update Customer e-Invoice Require Fields

Intro

 

This section provides a guide on updating the required fields in customer maintenance for e-invoice functionality. Ensuring that customer e-Invoice information is thoroughly updated is vital for the successful implementation and utilization of e-invoices.

 

After upgrading to the new version, please follow the steps below to complete the necessary configurations. You can utilize the e-Invoice Advisor to streamline the process of collecting customer data.


Solution

e-Invoice Settings

e-Invoice > e-Invoice Settings > Enable Customer Validation Control.

 If this setting is not activated, system will not proceed validation control when saving a customer in customer maintenance without fully update e-Invoice require fields.  

          

Ticked this setting if user would like to have the validation control when creating a customer.



The setting will reflect in Customer Maintenance, ‘e-Invoice Validation’.


e-Invoice Advisor
 

If e-Invoice validation is ticked, customers without complete e-invoice information will be listed in the e-Invoice Advisor for easy identification and follow up purpose

 


Tips: User can click on ‘Tips’ to learn about the e-Invoice require fields

 


Update Customer e-Invoice Information 

 

To update customer e-Invoice information, first of all you need to define the TIN Type. 

 You can Assign TIN Type in e-Invoice Advisor by selected the customers, and click on Assign TIN Type 


System will define the TIN Type accordingly.


For the 2nd option, you can define the TIN Type in Customer Maintenance accordingly.


Tips: TIN Type is crucial because different TIN Types require customers to update different e-invoice fields. 


If user saving a customer account without complete e-Invoice info, system will prompt the message and not allow to save


Deferred Validation
 

Somes times, user only can get partial e-Invoice information from their customers, however the user wishes to create or save the customer account first.

 In this case, user can change the e-Invoice Validation setting to ‘Deferred Validation’. 


With this setting, system allowed to save the customer account, and it will display in e-Invoice Advisor so that user can follow up later


Non-Validation 

 

If some customers don't need e-invoice info (e.g., Their company has closed or you no longer do business with them), set the e-Invoice Validation to ‘Non-Validation’

 

This allows the system to save without requiring e-invoice info. Moreover, this customer account will not display in e-Invoice Advisor
 


Full Validation 

 

For the users who do not tick ‘Enable Customer r Validation Control’, when saving the customer account system will not have proceed any validation checking. 

 User can still change the e-Invoice Validation to ‘Full Validation’ and save the customer account. System will still proceed the validation checking.  


Tips: 

  • Please update a valid phone no. without special character & alphabet 
  • Company registration no. has to be updated the new ROC without special character
