Overview:
This guide outlines how QNE users can enable their customers to request the rejection of a validated e-Invoice directly through the QNE platform, which integrates with the MyInvois Portal.
Scenario:
Mr. Lim just received a validated e-Invoice, but something doesn’t look right—there’s a mistake in the pricing.
He wants to reject it and let the supplier know through the proper channel. Here’s how your customer can do that through QNE.
Solution::
Open the validated Sales E-Invoice softcopy. Scroll down to the report footer and find the "E-Invoice Information" tab. At the bottom of this section, you’ll see a Rejection Request link. Click on it to start the process of rejecting the e-Invoice.
The customer will be prompted to QNE e-Invoice Request Portal.
Click on the Rejection Request button.
Provide a VALID reason for your request. Then, click OK.
Rejection request sent to supplier.
The supplier will be notified via email to review the rejection request.
After the supplier has accepted the request, the customer will see that the validated E-Invoice status will return as a CANCELLED document.
The following is the view from MyInvois portal for when the user scans the E-Invoice QR code of the cancelled E-Invoice document.
After the document has been cancelled, the supplier can clone the cancelled document to become a new Sales Invoice along with making the proposed adjustment and resubmit it back to LHDNM MyInvois Portal to produce a validated Sales E-Invoice.
